Domestic Violence Action Center: Signs of Abuse to Look Out for in a Relationship

Nanci Kreidman, M.A.is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of the Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC). She has been working for 35 years locally and nationally addressing domestic violence. Nanci has served on many committees in the community and through appointment by the Governor, Chief Justice, Mayor and Attorney General.

She has addressed local, national and international audiences on issues related to families, women, and children. Nanci has been published in Hawaii’s newspapers, interviewed for radio and television news and qualified as an Expert in State and Federal Court. 

In 2016 Pacific Business News recognized Nanci as a Women Who Mean Business Industry Leader. In 2014, Nanci received the Ho’okele Award from the Hawaii Community Foundation and the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation. Nanci was selected by the YWCA as a Woman Leader in 2010 by the YWCA and the Patsy T.K. Mink Foundation in 2008 recognized her with their Giraffe Award. Long Story Short (KHET public television community leader series) with Leslie Wilcox featured Nanci in 2011.
