David B. Rich was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and is a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, with a BS degree in Business Marketing. Served in the Military for more than 26 retiring from the US Air Force at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Served as the Director for Veterans Employment and Training with the US Department of Labor, retiring from federal service after serving for 29 years.
David is a Motivational Speaker and Leadership Coach. He serves on the speaking team with world renown speaker Les Brown and is a certified Leadership Coach with John Maxwell. He is a Scuba Diving Instructor and an Entrepreneur owning his own Real Estate and Speaking businesses for several years.
He has recently been selected to serve as President of the Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaii, a nonprofit organization who, for nearly 35 years has been providing outstanding Mental Health Services to individuals throughout Hawaii ‘Regardless of their Ability to Pay’.
David has been married for 36 years to his childhood sweetheart and they have 3 amazing children and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
In addition, for more than 46 years, David has been a member of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI-USA) a Buddhist organization establish for the prime purpose of assisting individuals in obtaining Peace and Happiness in their lives with a mission to accomplish World Peace and Global Happiness.
Last, but indeed not least – David has been a Rotarian for more then 15 years serving as President of the Southern New Castle County Rotary Club for 2 years in 2011 and in 2013 selected to serve on a team to travel to South Africa to provide services to a disabled youth facility.
