Originally from New York, I got my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from Syracuse, NY. I worked at a nonprofit in New York for 2 years delivering programs to pediatric patients all over the tri-state area while also creating a foundation in Uganda that helps young women start small businesses using skills they receive through our vocational program. At the beginning of COVID, I decided to move to Hawaii and received my Master of Social Work from Columbia University’s online program. I began working at A Family Tree in 2020 and have been helping clients all over the state grow their families through adoption ever since. My dad was adopted from Korea in the 70s and so I am passionate about advocating for adoptees and all the issues that relate to adoption and foster care. In my spare time, you can find me running, reading, surfing, waiting in line at Costco, or chasing my dog around the park.
