District Governor Visit

Monday, September 13th:  District Governor Sandy Matsui makes her official club visit (12pm)

Upcoming Training and Webinars

Saturday, September 4th: Kuleana: A Course in Leadership (9am-11am)

District 5000 presents a set of classes starting with “kuleana” (responsibility). This set of four sessions combines basic Rotary leadership concepts with Hawaiian cultural aspects to bring a unique type of leadership training that will serve participants not just in Rotary but in their business and professional careers. These classes are designed for emerging Rotary leaders or any person in D5000 who has an interest in developing their leadership capabilities.

Presentations by leadership experts, current CEO’s and community leaders will give participants a firsthand look at what it takes to lead others, especially volunteers. Join Immediate Past District Governor Naomi Masuno and District Trainer Benson Medina through a series of four classes (attend all or just the ones that spark your interest) that will give you a new perspective on leadership and help you define your own unique leadership style.

Our Upcoming Projects

Back to School Supply Drive

To help provide Palolo Elementary School keiki with the educational tools to succeed, we are collecting school supplies during the month of August. Any monetary donations will be used to purchase supplies on the list below.

Our Latest Project

Palolo Elementary School Cleanup

We had our first project of the new Rotary year last month. With the Palolo Elementary School keiki coming back to campus this month, we worked hard to beautify their playground and basketball area. We spent the day weed whacking, weed pulling, tree cutting, sweeping and more, so now they have much more room to play and run around!
