Road to Rotary
Alissa was born and raised in the midwest of America. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University, graduating cum laude.  Alissa has worked as a corporate Accountant in industries such as Insurance, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, and Property Management all in Colorado.  In 2019, she transitioned to remote work, preparing books for several non-profits from coast to coast.  Currently, Alissa spends half her career working for a CPA firm in Kentucky.  The other portion of her time, she maintains her own Accounting business where she supports  seven island and west coast clients.
Since Alissa has fallen in love with the aina on Oahu, she has pursued a work/play balance where she enjoys hiking in the valleys and up ridges, swimming in the ocean, walking beaches, Outrigger canoe paddling (recreationally for now), biking and some SUP.
