The Change of Command of our leaders marked a new beginning for our club, filled with renewed energy, commitment, and an unwavering dedication to service, and we had a great time partying togehter!
An air of camaraderie and joy pervaded the home of Rotarian Janice Kim and her husband Mike Friday evening, as the Rotary Club of East Honolulu convened for its annual installation dinner. The event, attended by 25 distinguished Rotarians and guests, the evening marked another milestone for the club.

The evening began with a welcoming speech by our own Past District Governor, Laura Steelquist, and new Assistant District Governor, Ryan Kawamoto.  Past District Governor, Linda Coble, conducted the presidential induction, passing the torch to incoming Cheryl Holdcroft.

The attendees also expressed gratitude towards the outgoing president, Kecia Sharpe, for her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment during her tenure. Her leadership was crucial in navigating the past year's challenges, and she served admirably as the face of the club.

The evening was not only about leadership transition. The incoming board members were also installed, signaling a fresh start and a continuation of the Rotary Club's legacy of service and community engagement. Their pledge to uphold the values of Rotary International was met with a round of applause.
